Thrivent Choice Dollars
Thrivent Financial has targeted the months of August through December to notify Thrivent members who have been selected to direct Thrivent Choice Dollars.
Please log on to the Thrivent website at www.thrivent.com for news from Thrivent Financial to determine if you are one of the approximately 30% of Thrivent members who will have this unique stewardship privilege.
This program will allow eligible members to direct Thrivent funds to organizations as listed in a "catalog" of enrolled recipients. This will be your opportunity to benefit your own congregation as well as the Lutheran non-profit organizations such as St. Paul's Lutheran School that may have previously been recipients of your GivingPlus Supplemental funds. No personal donation is required to direct funds reserved in your name. Please do not pass up this opportunity from Thrivent to provide much needed financial benefit to the Lutheran organizations included in your stewardship life.
THRIVENT CHOICE by phone:
Follow these steps to designate your Thrivent Choice Dollars .
1) Call 1-800-847-4836 and ask for Thrivent Choice.
2) You will need to give your name and address, last four digits of your social security number, and your birthday.
3) There are two options - One is the shortest. Two gives you a five minute
explanation.
4) You will be told the amount you have to designate to an approved organization,
5) You can then select where you want your dollars to be sent. (We hope you will select SL Paul's Lutheran School, 614 Jennings or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 612 Jennings.)
6) They will ask if you want this designation to continue in the future. If you want your dollars to continue going to the same place “yes” completes the process.
